ヴァイパー(毒蛇)は、まさに蛇のような動きを追究したシューズ。
素材をより薄くするとともに、より高い安定性を実現した人気シリーズです。
ソールが薄く設計されており、接地感と安定感に優れます。
「ヴァイパープロ」は、ヴァイパーシリーズのフレーム構造にコブラシリーズの特徴だった「EXOスケルトン」を採用した初のシリーズ。
ヴァイパーの安定性、接地感に、コブラのフィット感、操作性が加わりました。
シューズの外側に11°の傾斜を作ることで捻挫を防ぐ「LMS+」、
自然な左右の動きを実現する「T.G.S 62/75」（トーションガイドシステム）、
拇指球の回転力を活用する「ロールバー」など、サルミング独自機能を導入しています。
ドロップ(かかとからつま先への高低差)は6mmで、「リコイルウルトラ」(10mm)や「リコイルコブラ」「レベル」「イーグル」(8mm)よりも緩やかです。
